Update for RHD Civic Type R - The ASC unit is fitted on the opposite side, behind the glovebox. As with the LHD in this video remove the passenger side dash end panel, glove box compartment, 4 retaining screws on the under dash mount panel and its on that panel adjacent to the centre console.

The correct motherboard settings. 13990k Asus z790 ddr5 at 7800 MHz rAIO 360 unning all P Cores 5.5GHz and E Cores 4.3 Ghz temps 70c average when heavy gaming. Reset Bios to default not to newly released BIO,'s that now show Intels default settings. Here is what you need to do. First resest BIO's to default, then set 1. Bios to Auto AI optimized 2. LLC to 4 forOC 3. XMP II or Tweated 4. CPU PL short to 285 watt 5. CPU PL long to 275 watt 6. CPU core/cache current limit max 350 7. IA DC loadline 1.02 8. IA AC loadline 0.20 9. IA VR Voltage limit 1700 The performance is now what is expected without all the crazy temps and voltages and crashes. Cheers!

Hey, no need for downclocking, just put in the intel stock power limit 253 on pl1 and pl2. this fixes all off the crashes cpu gets too much power from your mobo, and turbo boost/ enhancement off

I plan on getting the somewhat new Alienware M18 R2 laptop with a 4090, I9 INTEL Processor, 64gb of ram, 16 GB of graphical memory and with a mouse, mousepad and the computer it'll be almost 4,000$ after taxes. Should I get it? I've read conflicting opinions some people say that Alienware is terrible other than their laptops which are supposedly decent, others say everything they make is garbage and to get a Razer or ASUS but the ASUS from what I've found doesn't have the same amount of RAM as the Alienware

4070 doesnt need a 1000 watt psi. The issue is you don't really know what you're doing. Taking everything apart is not how you troubleshoot a system. Parts don't all just die...

MICRO CENTER had my PC since 3/9/24 smh today is 4/12/24 upgraded my 4090/14900k to liquid cool smh they have not called me once for an update I had to keep blowing them up for an ETA last week they told me it should be done today and when I called yesterday now they are saying its next on the work bench and should be ready once again next week hands down I will not get any more work done by them again.

850W is just about enough if there's no overclocking. But even then, the PSU needs to be pretty darn good to handle that. I'd use 1000W. But yeah, I'm not sure it was the low wattage that killed the system.

850 watts is overkill for a 4070 ti. i have a 5800x3d and a 4070 ti on a 750 watt psu and have never once had a problem.

I have a $6000 rig and I did not take off the plastics.. Unless they were on the fans. There are 6 tech fluencers out there with millions of viewers that will tell you they were paid to disagree. NEVER BUY any tech because you were told to. Benchmarks are generic, Nvidia sells gimmicks and Microsoft is paid well to to tell you that you are wrong. Best path: get educated, pick based on needs not what you are told. edit: Microcenter does not talk about how good they are- they give free top tech to LTT, JTC, GN , TB, Greg Salazar to say how good they are. It is more cost effective to give a few grand of top tech to influencers to say that Microcenter is great instead of marketing for millions of dollars to pretend they are great. The common pc gamers is just tech stupid and require youtube to tell them they want Nvidia crap they do not need.

When you kept saying "1300k" i was like WHICH ONE MAN, just bc im nosey like that. I only listened to the video but if its a 13700k and a 4070 ti, 850w power supply is sufficient i believe. Though if i could go back in time and make my power supply bigger, i would. Just to have more options with less upgrading in the future.

sounds like the power supply may have shorted to the motherboard either it was faulty from the get go or the system drew too much power. 850w i feel is the minimum but i say shoot higher for future upgrades. feel like the builder was lazy and they didnt test it underload before handoff. its sad but the parts should have the manfacture warrenty so you could RMA the mobo, ram and PSU and then flip it or use it?

Its common practice to leave any peels on for the customer to peel. It's there to protect the components until they arrive at their final destination. in most cases, this isn't the box they put it back in after they build it for you. By any and all calculations, an 850-watt psu is sufficient for the components in this build. You clearly just don't like microcenter, but have failed to make any coherent argument as to why? Him having a component failure happens all of the time and doesn't damn microcenter because they built the pc the component went in.

cammon man a 850W power suply is enough power for a 4070ti and a 13th gen intel cpu, 850W PSU has a load of 73% with that config (I run a 7700X with a 7900XT on a 750W PSU and is fine, I have the build for over a Year and a half), Btw the fans are all turned around, bottom fans should pull air in, radiator fans should push through and the case fan should push also, then you will have a better airflow and a cooler GPU,

can you share your wattage math? im sure 4070ti and i7 does not need 1000w, and 4070 ti white cost less than $800 usd

This 850 is fine for this build, but I would never get MSI brand but MicroCenter is store and they have to get junk out of the store. Second thing microcenter employes are payed way to less to work on 30 PC-s today. So they just do not care. Am not defending them, but they are just store and one customer less or more who cares.

They like recommending 850s for some reason. It was the same way for the build for my wife. I was buying my components (which included a 360 AIO and 7 fans) 4080 SUPER, and they recommended me an 850. I was like "nah, ill take a 1300 just in case".

It's actually a sort of scam in my opinion 😂 I did figure it out yesterday by myself but for me, I found my sweet spot with power limit to stock (253w set through Asus BIOS with disabling Asus multi core enhancement) and then turning that P-Core to 56 (I don't know why my stock was 60)

I removed my thermostat than same thing happing with my nissan sentra but after again i put it back thermostat than he stop making boiling water in external tank but still that water not coming back into my radiator
